Was gifted this candle & I’ve spent MONTHS trying to find where it came from. My time WELL spent because now I can buy my own! Imagine walking in the woods & coming across a cottage; you wander inside to take a peak. There’s a wood fire crackling in the stone fireplace with a cauldron lightly bubbling. You look around & notice drying spices/herbs hanging about the room. Small shelves lined with one of a kind books; the books you’d search a lifetime to find. In the corner there’s a rocking chair & a familiar deeply sleeping, curled up on it’s side. There’s something different about the feeling of this cottage, something cozy yet magical. You give a look to your right & notice a broom tidying up, sweeping, on it’s own. The smells of the wood burning fire, the sweeping of the wooden floors as they ever so slightly creek, and the pure mysterious magic coming from this cottage….that’s this candle. I highly recommend ‘Keeping Room’, even if you live a little more modernly. 😉

My daughter and I took some open hearth cooking classes in a historic stagecoach inn. The minute the scent of this candle hit us it took us back to that place. Antiques, fire in the hearth, bread in the woodburning stove. I LOVE THIS CANDLE!!!!!

Love this candle! Right off the top, it’s smoky. Kind of a deep smoky scent. I get a bit tired of the typical smelling candles that every candle shop/stand has and find myself craving the not to common scent. This candle speaks to that part of me. It’s a step back into a more primitive time. The scent throw is pretty decent and the smokiness carries pretty well.
